David A. Schweidel is an assistant professor of marketing at the Wisconsin School of Business. He has a PhD in marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on the development and application of statistical models to customer behavior. His current research projects are in the areas of customer relationship management and measurement issues related to traditional and new media. His research has appeared in journals including Marketing Science, Management Science, Journal of Marketing Research and Journal of Marketing. In 2011, he participated in the Marketing Science Institute's Young Scholars program. He has received both research and teaching awards since joining the Wisconsin School of Business.
